Description
Truly South African luxury accommodation in the farmhouse originally belonging to Piet Retief, we are situated 12km outside Grahamstown in a game reserve ideal for bird watching, hiking, nature activities and game drives.
Accommodation
We offer 7 luxury suites, of which 4 enjoy outside showers, full en-suite bathrooms, colour television with Mnet and coffee- and tea-making facilities. Your choice of king-size or twin beds is available, as well as inter-leading room for families.
Food
Guests are welcome to make friends in the Settler-style pub. Relaxed candlelit dinners will be served on the patio or around the cheerful fireplace. Alternatively, you could feast on a hearty barbecue in the boma with traditional spitbraai or Xhosa HotPots prepared from our original recipes. We offer you a world of complete comfort and genuine East Cape hospitality.
